THE UNTOLD STORY OF HARIDWAR Its early in the morning the morning sun rises above with a spark in it. This is the very next day when we reached all the way from Delhi to Haridwar. After an almost 5 h 30 min journey we reached our destination.  We stayed just near about the Haridwar railway station. There are a lot of hotels and eatery available nearest to the railway station which can easily suit your pocket.  Its the month of  november a morning with a little cold in the climate. We rushed to one of the ghats nearest to the station for taking a traditonal ritualistic dip with mantras in the holy river Ganga. This city was as named up on the river as this has a very traditional importance as per the Hindu sastras. It was previously termed as   Gangadwara. The e-rikshaw charged around Rs.20/person from Haridwar railway station to reach me Bharat mata mandir ghat.  I recommend not to take rikshaws or autos from inside the railway station stand. As they can charge as high
